BARRY GRIBBON

Barry Gribbon founded Homerun Entertainment in 2002, just shortly after 9/11.  He saw the opportunity for a smaller, boutique production company that could thrive in a changing landscape of content creation. Eager to produce for cable television and web portals, Barry got Homerun up and going.

Barry's experience in operations and efficiency allowed Homerun to grow and stabilize in the changing landscape of content creation both for cable TV and digital distribution.  Among the highlights, Barry has produced over 600 episodes of food based programs which has lead to a James Beard national nomination and 15 Telly Awards.

With the desire help grow organizations, Barry used his experience as a line producer on televised award shows to start producing live events. The company now produces many live events, galas, sporting events and celebrations for numerous non-profit organizations.

Prior to Homerun, Barry was West Coast VP at  Scripps Networks and as freelance Executive in Charge for many productions.  Barry has also worked and consulted for significant tech content companies including DECA, Joyus.com and Tecca. Before Homerun, Barry had produced for all four broadcast networks along with numerous cable networks.

When not working, Barry spends way too much time chasing his sons around or pedaling his bike.  Being a committed environmentalist, Barry serves on the board of Heal the Bay.
