Forced to go virtual during the Covid crisis, it allowed this local Blues Festival to go national and service a much larger audience. This 2 hour festival had 4 amazing bands from all across the country performing. The online platform also had vendor booths, crafting classes and an expo for sponsors.
When 2022 came around the world was opening up, but there was many unanswered questions. So we did the best of both worlds. Beads of Courage had bands perform outside their office in Tucson and we shot them for a virtual concert. In that we also shot many patients and families the rely on Beads of Courage. It was a heartfelt virtual show and it worked as a fundraiser at viewing parties across the United States.
Beads of Courage is an art-in-medicine non-profit that services children dealing with serious medical conditions. Their programs are operated in over 110 hospitals in the United States and more abroad.
Attendees were shipped Beading kits and beer glasses and it was a fun Sunday afternoon for all who attended. It was also a substantial fundraiser for the organization. For Homerun, it was super fun to work with live bands and amazing musicians again!
