The concept of "Food Finds" was discovering "mom and pop" shops who were manufacturing their personally created food items. Our country is filled with them. The criteria for inclusion on Food Finds was that of course the food or product was quality made, it needed to have an interesting story, but also the company had to be able to ship their item across country and have the product arrive in the proper condition. This was not always an easy task - think melted ice cream when it wasn't packed with enough dry ice. But we were able to receive and enjoy so many amazing products and food - it was the dream job.
