Gracie Awards

The Gracie Awards recognize exemplary programming created by women, for women, and about women in all facets of media and entertainment.  The Covid Pandemic in 2021 necessitated the award show go virtual that year, and Homerun jumped in to support Executive Producer Vic Bulluck with the project.  The show was all shot on location or via broadcast quality web apps. Moreover, the show boasted more than 40 awards and 30 presenters and honorees.  The amount of production required to make the award show a rousing success was a tall mountain to climb, however the Homerun team answered the call and pulled it together.  The event featured noteworthy faces and talent including Hillary Clinton, Taylor Swift, Simone Biles, Kelly Clarkson, and performances by Jewel and Cece Winans.

Creative ideas such as having the voice over announcer on camera, and the host running the show from her own home made the virtual event feel personal in the same way that the live show always manages to.  Vic Bulluck contributed many amazing ideas and it was a professional highlight to help bring his ideas to life and execute them flawlessly.
